This rings true whether you’re an executive, a salesperson, a manager, a leader, a designer, a programmer, or even your company’s CEO. You leave your workplace today, and “they” will bring in someone else to replace you.
The replacement might not be as good as you, or perhaps he or she will be better. The truth is—it doesn’t matter! As long as the “other you” can run the show, it doesn’t really matter whether the replacement is better or worse.
All that matters is that the show keeps running.
