Life is incredibly complex. Our senses help us understand complexities. Our senses also have limitations, so the complexity that we see is thwarted by the limitations of our senses.
All humans have the same set of sense organs and the same brain. But there are people all around and in history who have achieved exceptional successes.
If you study the lives of these incredible super achieved humans, you can attribute their success to their deep studies, enduring commitment, passion, and their expanded level of senses. It’s how they looked at the same complex life, with the same set of senses, but from a different perception of their limitations.
The way they solved problems was by having a better understanding of the problem’s complexities. And that higher understanding was built on expanded capabilities of their senses.
You may not have the time or will to “expand the capabilities” of your senses, but if you have problems that you feel exceed your ability to solve, one way to move ahead will be by increasing the power of your senses.
How?
- By reading more and observing more with your eyes, then processing that information and learning it with your brain.
- By listening more with your ears, and again learning more with your brain.
- By expressing your thoughts and ideas in articulate ways.
- By challenging the limits of your beliefs deep inside your brain, and doing things you thought you could never do.
Get into the habit of doing steps 1, 2, 3, and 4. The greater the capacities of your senses, the more your problem-solving abilities will increase.
