During our growing years, we learn so much, walking, talking, writing, riding a bike, learning the mechanics of things, there is an endless bunch of stuff we learn.
Why do we learn? Because we want to be competent.
When we grow up and become competent at our own desired level of competence, we stop learning.
We’re either happy with what we have, or have drawn an imaginary threshold line for ourselves. From competent to complacent, a transition we all have but are less aware of.
Change drags us out of our complacency and we are faced with incompetency again because change brings in the new and the unfamiliar. Our natural human affinity will want us to be competent in situations that arise. So now, the change that caused incompetency triggers a human reaction-learning.
If your learning brain hasn’t been used for a while, you cry about the change, which is actually a cover-up for your incompetence.
All normal human minds naturally bend toward becoming competent in life situations & challenges.
When faced with a change, just assist your brain to learn-it will naturally adapt and become competent again.
