In most cases, fear will always be present whenever you’re trying to do something new. It’s the way you handle fear that makes all the difference.
Fear mostly arises when we anticipate disappointment, when we anticipate failure, when we think that the new thing we’re doing might not go over well with people. We anticipate that people will laugh at/mock us, or that we’ll face humiliation.
If you know how to tackle fear, you can effect huge changes in your life.
The next time you face fear, try changing your thinking from “It would be disappointing” to “It would be interesting to see what happens if. . .”
Success is never guaranteed, nor are there always right answers. So why not approach every new situation or challenge with—“It would be interesting to see what happens if I do this. . . !”
