Real “Human” Resources

As a manager, you can spread one of two cultures in your team.

The first is that of obedience—follow what is said and do what is told.

The second is one of openness and freedom.

Letting your team explore the best solution, guiding them to clear their own bottlenecks, challenging them enough to keep themselves motivated, and letting them use more of their human skills.

What would you choose as a fellow human?

Choose wisely. Don’t treat your team members like machines (operating on a fixed set of instructions)—use them more like “human” resources.
